April Sweeney

April Sweeney (Director – The Flying Ensemble Project)

April Sweeney has performed internationally in theaters and festivals in Argentina, Bolivia, France, Ireland, and Hungary.  In the United States she has performed in Regional Theatre, National Tours, Off-Broadway and downtown New York Theatre over the past decade. Recent performance projects include Karin Coonrod’s The Rover (Arts at the World Financial Center), Women Dreamt Horses (BAIT/Performing Space 122); This Place is a Desert (Under the Radar/Public Theater); Untitled Mars (This Title May Change)(P.S122); Bellona, Destroyer of Cities (Kitchen). April is Associate Professor in the Theater program at Colgate University and has taught a number of workshops throughout Bolivia and Argentina while in residency with Laboratorio Teatral Willaldea.
